List of Requirements for the First Communion Class
-Attend Mass: Religious education class is ONLY one hour a week. This hour is filled with highly important religious knowledge for your students and for their faith formation. If they miss class, they are missing out on ways to strengthen their faith.
From this date, no more than 3 unexcused class absences will be accepted
If students will be missing class for school related reasons, they must notify the
religious education instructors so that the assignments/lesson can be given to
them ahead of time.
-Know prayers: The Sign of the Cross, Glory Be, Hail Mary, Our Father, & Sacraments
-Be in the state of grace before receiving First Communion
-Parent involvement in church events is highly encouraged
